Foundations – At CrossFit 65/69, Foundations must be taken by all beginner CrossFitters. Foundations will help newcomers better understand the philosophy and methodology of CrossFit as well as the 9 functional movements (Air Squat, Front Squat, Overhead Squat, Shoulder Press, Push Press, Push Jerk, Deadlift, Sumo Deadlift High Pull, and Medicine Ball Clean). Foundations include: 3 x 1 hour small group sessions with a CrossFit 65/69 trainer.
WOD (Workout Of the Day) – Workouts at CrossFit 65/69 are unique in that you are being coached through every workout you attend. You will not be left standing around fending for yourself. CrossFit workouts are an average of 45-60 minutes and typically include a warm up, skills practice and workout. Each day is different and we are constantly looking to improve with safety and efficiency at the forefront. CrossFit is adaptable to everyone’s fitness level so you do not have to be an elite athlete to start training with us.
Competition Training – For many of our athletes, they are looking to have some extra programming geared to prepare them for upcoming competitions. We offer a competition training class that meets twice a week with more intense skill work and WOD programming focusing on heavy barbell cycling, gymnastics and intense cardio conditioning.
